To Let ourselves be vulnerable, to Love and be Loved requires great courage. It means challenging self-limiting definitions, thoughts, feelings, and assumptions. We activate this courage by developing the first five acts of courage: dreaming, seeing current reality, confronting, being confronted, and learning and growing. Still the courage to be vulnerable and to Love is different. We must constantly choose to be open and available to life. Without vulnerability, we cannot experience true Love, nor can we allow others to fully express their Love. From the Heart of Leadership -Robert E. Staub, II
